The following useful information comes directly from the Session Archives page at the Wyoming State Legislature website.
The Wyoming Legislature meets for not more than 40 days in odd-numbered
years in General Session. General Sessions convene at Noon on the second
Tuesday in January.
The Wyoming Legislature meets for approximately 20 days in even-numbered
years for a Budget Session. The Legislature can meet for not more than
60 days every two years, e.g. if it meets for 38 days in a General
Session, it can meet for up to 22 days in a Budget Session. Budget
Sessions convene at 10:00 a.m. on the second Monday in February. Bills
other than budget bills require a two-thirds vote to be introduced in a
Budget Session.
The Governor may call the Legislature into Special Session. If a Special
Session is called, there is no limit on the length of the session or on
the topics to be considered.
